The Tunnel, is a horror film that was released yesterday, May 19 (in Australia), legally on BitTorrent. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you should. It is an excellent movie! It is my opinion that this is how the movie industry should work. Movies should be released for free on BitTorrent and then if people like the movie they can buy it after. If it wasn’t for the torrent release of The Tunnel, I would have never paid money for it nor would I have gotten to see the movie. But because they released it for free, I got to watch a movie that I typically wouldn’t watch and I ended up really enjoying the movie. Now that I know the movie is worth paying for, I will be donating money to them on the VODO website.
